Scott George Leonard Slipp

Scott George Leonard Slipp, 52, of Kentville, Nova Scotia died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on May 24, 2015. Born December 21, 1962 in Toronto, he moved to the Annapolis Valley when he was eight and grew up in Centreville on Big Dipper Farm. He sponsored and provided equipment for many youth sports teams, and was a keen supporter of Acadia Athletics and of Brigadoon Village, a camp for children with chronic illness, on Aylesford Lake. He was predeceased by his parents, George Leonard and Kaye V. (Lockhart) Slipp.  With his first wife Shelley Orr, Scott had two daughters, Whitney Marie and Courtney Anne. Nine years ago he married the love of his life, Sharon, and became step-dad to son, Brett Holland. He is survived by his wife, children and four brothers, Barry (Val), Edmonton; Marke (Kate), Wolfville; Steven (Wendy), Wolfville; and Paul (Michele), Hubley. Cremation has taken place.
