Robert Wayne "Bobby" Whiston

Robert Wayne "Bobby" Whiston - 61, of Cambridge, Kings County, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in  Kentville, he was a son of the late Wilbert and Myrna (Schofield) Whiston. He had been employed with D.M. Cavanagh Enterprises Ltd., Wolfville. He is survived by his wife, Florence (Haggerty) Whiston; step-sons, David Morse, New Minas; Dean Morse and his children, Waterville; step-daughter, Glynis Carter, Berwick; several grandchildren; sisters, Ena (Richard) Balsor, Berwick; Mabel (Justin) Balsor, New Minas; Helen (Dan) Draper, Lower Sackville; Shirley (Ken) Pinch, West Brooklyn; Doris (Robert) Kelly, West Brooklyn; Wanda (Bill) Naugler, New Ross; brothers, Ernest (Phyllis), Berwick; Jerry (Pat), Waterville; brother-in-law, Everett Dunham (Vivian), Kentville; many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Gladys (Green); sister, Evelyn Dunham; step-son, Cecil Haggerty. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 15, 2015 in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill, Reverend Barbara Cochran officiating. Family flowers only, by request. Donations in memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
