Ronald Henry Keddy - 89, formerly of Greenwich, Kings County, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015 in the Veteran's Unit of Soldier's Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born on December 2, 1925 in Wallbrook, Kings County, he was a son of the late Joseph and Elsie (Turner) Keddy. He was a veteran of the Second World War. Following the war, he worked in construction and farming. He was also a member of the Port Williams Lions Club. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, the former F. Roelene (Price); a daughter, Joan (John) Lake, Greenwich; two sons, Gordon Keddy, Sussex, NB; Arnold (Sylvia) Keddy, Greenwich; a sister, Marjorie (Jack) Porter, Starr's Point; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Wayne Keddy; three sisters, Winnie, Blanche and Marguerite; seven brothers, Arnold "Harvey", Foster, David, Lester, Lorne, Lawrence and Harry. There will be no visitation, by request. The funeral service, followed by a reception, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 29, 2015 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Cathy Pharo officiating. Burial will take place in St. John's Anglican Cemetery, Church Street, Port Williams. No flowers, by request. Donations in memory may be made to the Veteran's Unit of Soldier's Memorial Hospital. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
