Kathleen Jane Misner

Kathleen Jane Misner - 86, of New Minas, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015 in Evergreen Home for Special Care, Kentville. Born in Chipman Brook, Kings County, she was a daughter of the late Charlie and Bertie May (Gould) Misner. She enjoyed meeting new people and working with the public. She also enjoyed dancing and square danced for many years, making all of her own dancing outfits. She also loved to bake, especially bread and apple pies. She is survived by two daughters, Pauline Baxter and Margaret (Brian) Harvey; two sons, Eugene (Bernice) Taylor and Merlin (Heather) Taylor; grandchildren, Stewart and Sandy Baxter, Angela (Clyde) Longmire, Tanya Harvey, Magee and Jeremy Taylor, Jodi Bishop and Todd Folz; several great grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn, Vivian (Ken), Marguerite (Wayne), Carolyn (Percy), Grace and Burleen; brothers, Garnet (Vicki), Lawrence, Percy, Ronald (Carol) and Freddie; nieces, nephews and special friend, Tena. She was predeceased by a sister, Viola; two brothers, Charlie and Frank. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A private family graveside service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2015 in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill. Donations in memory may be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
