Angela Michelle Veldhoven

Angela Michelle Veldhoven – 50, of Coldbrook, Kings County, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2018 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville surrounded by her loving family. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of Nicolaas "Nick" Veldhoven and Eileen (Yorke) Veldhoven, Kentville and a sister of Nicole Veldhoven, Coldbrook. She was predeceased by Paternal Grandparents Johannes H. Veldhoven, Sr., Johanna P. (vanKuijk)Veldhoven and Maternal Grandparents Arnold L. Yorke and Gladys E. (Veinott) Yorke. Angela attended school in Halifax and lived there and in Dartmouth until 2007, when she relocated to Coldbrook to share a home with her sister Nicole. She loved her family time, nature and wheeling around her little community, her special music and keeping busy. Angela touched the lives of many and will be remembered for her steadfast courage and resiliency throughout her life, inspiring us all. She helped pave the way for others to take their place in community and was a shining example to follow. Angela will be deeply missed by her family, her friends and her caregivers. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Angela's Life will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, December 8, 2018 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville. Donations in Angela's Memory can be made to Nova Scotia Association for Community Living, Halifax, Victorian Order of Nurses (Annapolis Valley Branch), Support Services Group, New Minas or Charity of your choice.
