Irvin "Troy" Griffin

Irvin "Troy" Griffin - age 53, of Steam Mill, Kings County, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Born in Kentville, he was the son of Irvin and Lorna (Noiles) Griffin.  He had been employed with W.D. Agro Services Inc., New Minas. Troy had a love for the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He was a hard worker with a kind heart, who would do anything possible to help those in need.  Besides his parents, he is survived by daughter, Chyanne-Marie Griffin, Greenwich; son, Lindsay Griffin, Kentville; sister, Kim (Wayne) Baltzer, Centreville; nieces and nephews and the love of his life, his faithful canine companion, Sally. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 25, 2019 in the Hillaton Cemetery. A celebration of Troy’s life will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 25, 2019 in the Meadowview Community Centre. Donations in memory may be made to SPCA – Kings County. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
