Frena May Harvie

Frena May Harvie - 95, formerly of Kentville, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2019 at Haliburton Place, Windsor, NS.  Born on July 30, 1924 in Gaspereau Mountain, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Vera (Levy) MacInnis.  Frena operated Harley Harvie Fuel Oil for Kentville and surrounding areas with her husband for many years.  She is survived by her devoted daughter Carol Diane Dale; granddaughters, Angela Dale, Iqaluit, Nunavut and Patricia Dale, Moncton, NB; sisters-in-law, Marge Cooper, Kentville and Joyce MacInnis, Hantsport; nephew, Richard (Shelley) Dauphinee, Three Mile Plains, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband of 67 years Harley; son-in-law, Robert Dale; sisters, Alicia Dauphinee and Verna Harvey; brothers, Ronald, Chesley, and Keith. There will be a private family burial service in the spring of 2020 in Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill, Kings County. Memorial donations in Frena’s memory can be made to the Haliburton Place, 89 Payzant Drive, Windsor, NS B0N 2T0 or the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville.
