Lucille Evelyn Veinotte

Lucille Evelyn Veinotte - age 72, of Somerset, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2019, at home. Born in Port Lorne, she was the daughter of the late Murray and Marjorie (Smith) Clark. She had been employed with M.W. Graves Limited and later worked at Meadowbrook Farm. She enjoyed going to yard sales, crafts, attending flea markets, Frenchy’s shopping, knitting, and recipes. She loved animals, especially her two dogs, Simon and Harley. She is survived by daughter, Marjorie Lutz (Christopher Harris), Waterville; son Murray (Marilyn), Somerset; granddaughter, Sarah; son-in-law, Alan Lutz, Aylesford; brother, Ivan Clark, Gerald, Saskatchewan. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Michael "John" Veinotte in 2002. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, December 6, 2019 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2019, Reverend Gary Manthorne officiating. A private burial will take place in the Berwick Cemetery. Following the burial family and friends are invited to Marjorie’s for fellowship and refreshments. Family flowers only, by request. Donations in memory may be made to the SPCA – Kings County. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
