Wanda Pearl Redden

Wanda Pearl Redden - age 65, of Sunken Lake, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2020 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Wolfville, she was a daughter of Beverley (McInnis) Brown, Greenfield and the late Keith Brown. Wanda worked in retail management at Superstore, Big Stop and Marks Work Warehouse. She was a dedicated wife, mother and friend who was a very thoughtful person and always found the good in everyone. She loved cooking, crafts and the outdoors, especially gardening. She is survived by her husband, Earl, Sunken Lake; daughter, Tammie-Theresa (Cory) Smith, New Minas; son, Brian "Skip" Saunders, New Minas; step-son, Joshua (Janet) Redden; faithful companion, Buddy; sister, Cindy Smith (Gordon Atwell), Melanson Mountain; brothers, Darrel (Norma) Brown, Barry Brown (Sandra Eddy), both of Greenfield, Kevin (Ruth) Brown, Vancouver Island, BC; grandchildren, Richard "R.J.", Tristan, Tiffany, Kurtland, Alicia, Morgan, Leah, Megan, and Brandon; great-grandchildren, Carter and Colt; mother-in-law, Gloria Redden, South Alton; several nieces and nephews. Besides her father, she was predeceased by father-in-law, Robert "Bob" Redden; granddaughter, Jasmine Britney. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2020 in the White Family Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 22, 2020, Reverend Virginia DeAdder officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to ALS Society of Canada or a charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
