Allan Edward Albert

Allan Edward Albert - age 89, of Kentville, formerly of Port Williams and Wolfville, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2020. Born in Campbellton, NB, he was a son of the late Emmanuel and Cecilia (Martin) Albert. He was a certified industrial mechanic and worked for the Formex Company and the Faculty of Science at Acadia University. He was a member of the Wolfville Lions Club and the Wolfville Fire Department for many years. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Joan (Bowser) Albert; daughters, Gisele "Jill" DaRosa and Carolyn Dopson; granddaughter, Julia Dopson; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family and was predeceased by a sister and five brothers. Following his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service. A family burial will take place in the summer. Donations in memory may be made to the Valley Regional Hospital – Carey Me Fund or the charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
