Thomas Archibald "Tom" Foley

1950-2020

Thomas Archibald "Tom" Foley – aged 70, of Centreville, Kings County, NS passed away in his home on Thursday, February 13, 2020. He was predeceased by beloved parents Dr. Horace and Gertrude (Power) Foley; brother, Ralph Foley and sister-in-law, Kathy (Porter) Foley. He is survived by brothers, Dr. Greg Foley (Dr. Mary Green) and Robin (Ann Marie) Foley; sisters, Elaine Murray, Janice (Nelson) Poushay and Christine (Melvin) Evenson; sister-in-law, Clarissa Foley and by a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Tom had been employed by Hostess Foods and also spent time working as a school bus driver. He was a gentle soul who had a sharp wit and excellent memory for family events. He loved and respected his siblings who cared for him and loved sharing the news of the day with whomever he met. The family would like to express special thanks and appreciation for the care and concern given to Tom by his kind neighbours.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Tom’s life will be held for family and friends at a family home in May (further details to be determined and announced at a later date) with inurnment following at his parents’ gravesite in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill. As an expression of sympathy donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
