Vivian Alfaretta Morse

Vivian Alfaretta Morse – 85, of Berwick, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2020 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Berwick, she was a daughter of the late Everett and Olive (Miller) Millen.

A life-long resident of Berwick, she had been a Telephone Operator in her earlier years and was later employed with Moody Brothers, Berwick, for several years. She was the first president of the Berwick Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Berwick Lionettes Club and the MacPherson Auxiliary. Vivian was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Harold; four sons, Peter (Ellen), Kentville; Brian (Laura), Berwick; Michael, Berwick; Bradley (Melody), Berwick; a sister, Doreen (Norman) Zimmer, Florida; 14 grandchildren, Mary Ellen (partner, Jerry), Andrew (Alyssa), Benjamin (Sarah), Sarah (Jeff), Ian (Eleanor), Jane (Kyle), Mark (Melanie), Lauren (Chad), David, Aaron (Amy), Grace, Margaret, Megan (James), Trevor (Aislinn); 11 great grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. The funeral service, followed by a reception, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2020 in the Berwick Baptist Church, Rev. Dr. Shawn Kehoe officiating. A private family burial will take place in the Berwick Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to the Berwick Baptist Church or the charity of your choice.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
