Charles Glendon Fraser

Charles Glendon Fraser – 76, of Wolfville, formerly of Canning, Kings County, passed away Monday, March 23, 2020 in the Wolfville Elms. Born in Scotts Bay, Kings County, he was a son of the late Wesley and Minnie (Huntley) Fraser. He had been employed as a mechanic with Goodwear Treaders, New Minas, for over 30 years. He volunteered at the Arlington Cemetery and the Canning Food Bank for many years. He is survived by three children, Faye (Kevin), Sackville; James, Kentville; Rick (Bernadette), Canning; six grandchildren, Rebecca, Stephanie, Kaitlyn, Kelsey, Hannah and Matthew; two sisters, Lillian and Dorthea. His first great-grandchild, Nevaeh is due in June. He was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Debra (Houghton); two brothers, Eugene and Ronald. There will be no visitation. A private family celebration will be held at a later date. Burial will take place in the Arlington Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to the Annapolis Valley VON. A special thank-you to the VON for their care and compassion. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
