Hope Delight de Hamel

Hope Delight (Cross) de Hamel passed away on March 27, 2020 at the Valley Regional Hospital.  Born in Bridgewater, she was the eldest daughter of the late Perry L. Cross and Jessie A. (Moore) Cross.  She is survived by sons, Kelly Fulsom and Fabian Fulsom, both of ON; granddaughter Lexie Fulsom, of ON; sister Joy Whynot (Walter) of Conquerall Mills;  nieces, Sally Whynot of Italy Cross, April Whynot-Lohnes (Danny) of Conquerall Mills, and Nephew Mark Whynot (Lisa) of Conquerall Mills.

Hope loved music and her passion was playing the piano and teaching piano lessons, which she did over the span of many years.  She also loved traveling and telling of her experiences and places she had visited.

The family would like to thank all of the caring and compassionate, individuals at the Valley Regional Hospital who cared for Hope in the final stages of life.  And dear Mary Turner, who was a special friend and comforter, as well as Joe McHugh, and Fred and Bonnie Bond.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to a charity of choice.
