Robert Burton Benedict

Robert Burton Benedict - 77, a lifelong resident of Mt. Denson passed away suddenly at home on Saturday, April 4, 2020. He was the son of the late Robert and Elsie (Moore) Benedict. Bobby was a well-known carpenter who mastered his skills at the early age of 17 and continued his craft until his retirement. He held a special place in his heart for his grandsons and great-grandsons. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Shirley (Carr); daughters, Anita (Wade) Myles, Upper Rawdon; Carolyn (Scott) Messom, Canaan; grandsons, Mitchell (Jenna) Myles and Jeremy (Kelly) Myles, both of Upper Rawdon; Brandon and Wyatt Messom, both of Canaan; great grandsons, Connor Rafuse, Blake, Ben and Landon Myles, all of Upper Rawdon; brother, John Benedict, Comox, British Columbia; several cousins and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Shirley and nephew, Gregory Benedict. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation by request. Services will be held at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to the Victorian Order of Nurses or a charity of one’s choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
