Cecil Arthur Bardell

Cecil Arthur Bardell - age 84, of New Minas, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2020 at home. Born in Kentville, he was a son of the late Cecil Arthur Sr. and Ethel Winnifred (Redfearn) Bardell. He had worked for the Kentville Bakery, Kentville Publishing and retired from Thompsons Moving and Storage. He was a Cub Master of New Minas for 17 years, a member of the Gyro Club and an avid golfer at Ken Wo golf course.  He is survived by his wife Lorraine; children, Cheryl (Bill) Usher of New Minas and Brent (Leah) Bardell of Coldbrook; sister, Alice Bryden of Halifax; and grandchildren, Brenna (Josh) Edgar, Jana Bardell and Aaron Bardell. He was predeceased by his brother George Bardell and sister June Forsythe. Cremation has taken place.  There will be no visitation or funeral service, by request. Donations in memory of Cecil may be made to the VON Annapolis Valley. A special thank-you to Dr. Sinclair , the VON and Palliative care for their care and compassion over the last few months as well the many friends that have visited. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
