Sheila V. Bezanson

1946-2020

Sheila V. Bezanson

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Sheila Vivian (Jodrie) Bezanson, 73, of Brooklyn Corner. Sheila passed away at home surrounded by her family on Sunday, April 26, 2020. Born in Kentville, she was a daughter of the late Russell Jodrie and Vivian (Dauphinee) and loving wife of the late Russsell Bezanson. She enjoyed Monday night crafts with the girls, playing cards (most of all when she beat Pat), reading, and watching her favorite shows on TV. She always had a good time yard saling, especially with Pat and Donna. Sheila passionately loved her family and always had a twinkle her eye whenever she spoke of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sheila is survived by her daughters, Crystal of New Minas and Sheri (Bert) of Chester Basin; siblings, Ronald (Judy) Jodrie of St. Stephen, New Brunswick, Reg (Donna) Jodrie of Kentville and Patricia Jodrie of Berwick; grandchildren, Allison, Nicole, Kelsey (Jon), Kimberly and Melanie; step-grandchildren Connor and Chance; great-grandchildren, Mya, Ace, Russell, RaeLynn, Piper, and future baby Collins; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her stepfather Vernon Wentzell and stepbrother Ted Wentzell. There will be no visitation or funeral service by request. A private graveside service will take place at Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville, Nova Scotia at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to the Victorian Order of Nurses Annapolis Valley. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville. On-line condolences and inquiries may be directed to www.whitefamilyfuneralhome.com.

We think of you with love today,
but that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday,
And the days before that too.
We think of you in silence,
We often speak your name.
All we have are cherished memories,
And your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake,
With which we will never part.
Our angels have you in their keeping,
We have you in our hearts.

Until we meet again.

- Crystal, Sheri, Bert, Allison, Nicole, Kelsey, Jon, Kimberly, Melanie, Connor, Chance, Mya, Ace (your little man), RaeLynn, Piper, Russell, and future baby Collins.
