Constance Elizabeth Steele

Constance Elizabeth Veronica "Connie" Steele - 82, of Kentville, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Centreville, she was a daughter of the late Bedford and Elizabeth (Ryan) Steele. In her early years, Connie worked at the Nova Scotia Sanatorium, Kentville. She enjoyed being a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Nova Scotia Command, Kings Branch No. 6, Kentville. Connie was incredibly fond of bluegrass music. She is lovingly remembered by three daughters, Sherry Franklin, Ontario; Kelly Lee, Ontario; Laurie-Ann (Martin) Tomasek, Hermitage, Tennessee, USA; a sister, Valerie Cody, Hall’s Harbour; a brother, Carman (Grace) Steele, Hall’s Harbour; eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. She will also be forever remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Grant Lee; grandson, Justin Lee; two brothers, Gary Steele and Truman Steele. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation, by request. The funeral service will be held at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
