Barbara Gertrude Stirling

Barbara Gertrude (Yeaton) Stirling – 94, of Greenwich, formerly of Upper Canard, Kings County, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 in Shannex – Blomidon Court, Greenwich. Born in Windsor, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Muriel Blanche "Babe" (Robinson) Yeaton. She is survived by daughters, Patricia (David) Gowland, Woodville and Muriel Stirling, Centreville; sons, Russell (Jeannie), Cape Breton; Stephen (Sherry), Centreville and Mark (Debbie), Centreville; daughter-in-law, Ruthann, Kentville; son-in-law, Philip "Phil" Lockhart, Kentville; 15 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; brother, Charles (Marsha), New Ross; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas "David"; daughter, Ann Lockhart; son, Thomas "Tom"; sister, Mary Moore. Cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will be held at a later date in the Canard Burial Ground, Canard, Kings County. Donations in memory may be made to Breast Cancer Research or the Alzheimer Society. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
