Paul Henry Herbert Danells

Paul Henry Herbert Danells – 75, of North Alton passed away Monday, August 3, 2020 in Valley Regional Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born March 28, 1945 in New Brunswick to the late Edward and Martha (Long) Danells. He was a loving father and grandfather. He worked as a bus driver and mechanic for Perry Rand Limited. He loved to drive his Goldwing with his best bud, Peter Stevenson. They would take a lot of trips to get away and he loved it. He is survived by his common law wife, Sherry Martin; his daughter, Leesa Danells (Thomas), Lawrencetown; sons, Jason, Nick and Jonathan, all of Alberta; step-daughter, Melinda Cote, Kentville; five grandchildren, Timothy, Isabell, Braiden, Madline and Piper; brothers, Charles, New Brunswick; Bill (Judy), Dartmouth; Calvin (Marilyn), Dartmouth; sisters, Dawn Almgren (Edwin), Ontario; Ann King, New Brunswick; Lynn Tobias (Donald), New Brunswick; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Jean (West) Danells; sisters, Ruby Cardella and Lou Jones; brother, Fred. There will be no funeral service or burial at Paul’s request. I would like to thank Jennifer Lawton, Nurse Practitioner, for everything she did for Paul, the VON nurses for their care for the last two years and the nurses of Medical A for their care of Paul in his final days. He will be missed by all his family and loved ones. Donations may be made to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the IWK. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
