Donald Andrew MacArthur

Donald Andrew MacArthur, 74, recently of Kentville, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Orillia, Ontario, he was a son of the late D. Grant and Frankie (Canning) MacArthur. Prior to retirement, Donald taught at Bowmanville Central Public School and Senior Public School as well as a school bus driver. He was also a Bowmanville local councilor for several years. He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Bailey) MacArthur; children, Leigh MacArthur (Jo Kyoung Ah MacArthur) and Brock MacArthur (Amy Anderson-MacArthur); and grandchildren, Caie-Sun, Sloan, Avery, Hawkin and Amara. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Janet Big Canoe. Keeping with Donald’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to MusiCounts. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
