Dean Richard Cousins

Dean Richard Cousins - 86, of White Rock, Kings County, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville.  Born on June 20, 1934 in White Rock, he was a son of the late Russell Cortland and Olive Adelia (Cross) Cousins. Dean was a carpenter most of his working life and in later years had been employed as a custodian at the old Horton District High School, Greenwich. After retirement, he loved working on the farm and tinkering in his garage. He is survived by a son Richard (Kim), Berwick; daughter, Robin (Jeff) Vidito, Waterville, three grandchildren, Amber, Italo and Zane; three step-grandchildren, Alicia, Ashley and Amanda, and three great grandchildren, Josie, Shae and Deacon; a brother, Roy (Helen) Cousins, White Rock; sister-in-law, Margaret Cousins, Arcadia, Florida. He was predeceased by brothers, William and Melvin of White Rock and Earl of Arcadia, Florida. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date with interment in the Gaspereau Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville.
