1964-2021

Kathi Rae (Bezanson) Graves

Kathi Rae (Bezanson) Graves - With broken hearts, we regret to announce the passing of our mother, daughter, sister, and aunt, Kathi Rae Graves (Bezanson), on Saturday, January 23, 2021. She was born in Baden-Baden, Germany, on December 2, 1964. She travelled with her family for the next sixteen years. She settled in the Annapolis Valley, where she attended Kingstec Community College and worked in childcare for many years. She moved to Ontario and gave birth to her son, Nathaniel Hughes. She returned to the Annapolis Valley to raise her son. She then found her supportive and caring partner, Bryan Stuart, with whom she enjoyed the remainder of her life. She loved singing in the Baptist church choir and spending time with her family. Kathi found great joy socializing at the Kentville Legion with her mother, Eleanor. She is survived by her mother, Eleanor "Ellie" Thomson, New Minas; son, Nathaniel Hughes, Ontario; partner, Bryan Stuart, Canning; brothers, Chris (Heather) Bezanson, Alberta; Darren (Lori) Bezanson, Falmouth; nephews, Jared (Alicia) Bezanson, New Brunswick; Jordan Bezanson, Alberta; and niece, Tanisha (Trevor) Boyd, Windsor. She was predeceased by her father, Eugene "Buzz" Bezanson and brother, Troy Bezanson. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation, by request. A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the VON of Nova Scotia or the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia. The family would also like to thank the VON and Careforce staff for their professionalism and guidance during our difficult time. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville. On-line condolences and inquiries may be directed to www.whitefamilyfuneralhome.com.
