She taught at Acadia School of Home Economics for 11 years. The highlight for Clara was receiving an Honorary Degree of Civil Laws in 2010 from Acadia. Clara was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Jefferson. Together they hosted family gatherings at their cottage at Huntington Point. Clara had a great love for her three deceased brothers, George, Charles and Pat. She is survived by her youngest brother, Mike and his wife, Shirley. They have been close to Clara in recent years. Clara had a great interest and love for her 11 nieces and nine nephews. They were an important part of her life. We offer our sincere gratitude to Drs. Mullen, Abraham and Lee. The devotion and care provided by caregivers enabled Clara to stay in her own home, for which she was very grateful. Donations in memory may be made to Carey Me- Valley Regional Hospital Foundation (in support of palliative care in the home), George C.
