Courtney Elizabeth Fossett

Courtney Elizabeth Fossett – age 36, died tragically on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of Lynn (Evans) Fossett, Kentville; and the late Herbert Fossett. Courtney graduated from NSCC with a certificate in the Continuing Care Assistant program. She worked at Northwood and Shannex but found her true passion in home care. She will be sadly missed by: her mother, Lynn; sisters, Paige Fossett, New Minas; and Laura (Fossett) Grove, Calgary; aunts and uncles, Gillian (Greg) Mitchell, Richard Evans, Susan Evans, Sylvia Fossett-MacLeod; nieces and nephews, Evan, Taylor, Rebecca, Adalynn and Jesse; cousins, friends and extended family. Besides her father, she was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Richard and D. Merle Evans; paternal grandparents, Ellis and Violet (McLaughlin) Fossett; uncles, Robert Evans and Gary Fossett. A private family graveside service will be held in the Mount Denson Cemetery, Reverend Doctor Judith Saunders officiating. A video webcast of the graveside service will be available at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 1, 2021. A Celebration of Life Service will be planned for a later date.
