Perley Vincent Kelly

1956-2021

Perley Vincent Kelly

Perley Vincent Kelly - 64, of Canaan, passed away suddenly on Friday, March 26, 2021, after a period of failing health. Born in Wolfville, he was a son of the late Lester and Jane (Kelly) Muise. Prior to retirement, Perley worked for ACA Co-op and SG Levy & Sons lumber mill. He was an avid sports fan, playing baseball and hockey for many years. He enjoyed watching his beloved Toronto Blue Jays and Maple Leafs and recently the Raptors. He rarely missed watching wrestling or NASCAR. He also enjoyed fishing and anything that would let him be outdoors enjoying the sun. He was known for being a jokester and for creating controversy so he could watch people's reactions. But through it all, he loved his family and would do anything for them.

Perley will be missed by his wife, Nancy (Huntley); children, Shane (Carla) Kelly and Tanya (Darrell) Doucette; brothers, Ricky (Sharon) Muise, Don (Darlene) Muise, Darryl (Terry) Muise,Tim (Priyanka) Muise; sisters, Darlene (Glen) Dykens, Betty Muise, Carol (Andre) Bechard and Cheryl Brown; grandchildren, Jeremy Kelly, Emily (Mark) Parsons, Sarah Doucette, Sabrina Doucette, Alex Hamilton and Rebecca Kelly; and great-granddaughter, Avery Pinch.

The family would like to thank Dr. Scott and his staff for the kindness and respect shown to Perley in his time of need.
