Everett Jess Taylor

Everett Jess Taylor – age 92, of Canning, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at home. Born in Medford, he was a son of the late John and Clara (MacCumber) Taylor. He is survived by daughter, Sherry (Robert Cann), Prospect; son, Stephen (Wendy), Habitant; grandchildren, Shannon (Matthew), John (Reina), Aron (Melissa) and Damyan.  His great grandchildren: Brodie, Cole, Emma, Gracie, Bryce, Abby, Logan and Everie, nieces, nephews and extended family, Jamie MacInnis, Ethan and Sarah. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Joyce (Bishop); sister, Mary Faye; brothers, James (Marjorie), and Frank. Everett was a devoted father and grandparent who was a proud pensioner from Maritime Tel and Tel with over 25 years of service.  He enjoyed boat building, hobby farming, antique tractor restoration and fishing. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family and all that knew him. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation, by request.  A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place in the Habitant Cemetery, Kings County. Donations in memory may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
