Diana Lynn Brown

Diana Lynn Brown – age 66, of New Minas, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021 in the Valley Hospice, Kentville. Born in London, Ontario, she was a daughter of Pauline (Taylor) Brommit and the late William John Brommit. Diana had been employed by the Superstore, New Minas, where she worked in the seafood and HRM departments. She loved knitting, sewing, cooking and baking. She enjoyed spending time with grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is survived by sons, Nick Brown, New Minas; Jonathan Maccumber, Yorkton, Sk; and Kevin Grondin (Lisa Grondin), Bridgewater; sisters, Judy Rogers, Dawson Creek, BC; Linda Limbiotakos, New Minas; Sheila VanOers, Woodville; and Donna Rafferty, New Minas; brothers, Bill Brommit, Dawson Creek, BC; Kenneth Brommit, Edmonton, Alta; and Terry Brommit, Kentville; grandchildren, Calista Kuzma; Paige Grondin; Amanda Grondin; Matthew Grondin; 8 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, Diana was predeceased by granddaughter, Heather Maccumber and niece, Shelly Bent, formerly of Kentville. A public graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Kentville, Father Keith Billard officiating. A video webcast of the service will be available at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 8, 2021. Donations in memory may be made to Valley Hospice Foundation.
