Lemuel Alexander "Lem" MacPherson, age 91, of Kentville, Nova Scotia. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father on Sunday, April 18, 2021. Lem was born in Glace Bay, one of ten children of Thomas and Gertrude MacPherson. He was predeceased by six of his siblings. He is survived by three sisters, Tootsie (Gertrude), Isabel and Joan. Lem leaves behind his beloved wife, Donalda (Donna), to whom he was married for over 67 years; his son, Glen (Bonnie) and his daughter, Sandra (Patrick Duncan). He loved his grandchildren, Emily Duncan (Daniel Roboff) and Ted MacPherson very much and adored spending time with his great grandchildren. Lem proudly served in the Royal Canadian Air Force for twenty-two years. In 1971 he was named ‘Airman of the Year’ and was awarded a trip around the world. He was an avid sportsman who continued to golf regularly into his late eighties. He always had a sparkle in his eye. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or any charity. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
