Sheldon Timothy "Tim" Shaw

Sheldon Timothy "Tim" Shaw – 68, of Central Onslow, passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 in the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Centennial Building, Halifax. Born in Kentville he was a son of Muriel (Spicer) Shaw, New Minas and the late Vincent Shaw. In Tim's younger years, he was always found with either a fishing rod, or a guitar in his hands. Music has been a passion which he has shared with numerous people throughout his life, touching many hearts through his singing and performing. Tim was a kind and loving father, a loyal trusting friend, a helpful neighbour, a talented musician, and an avid partier. He always had a project on the go whether it was setting up shows, making music with friends, fixing or building vehicles, fishing, or staying at the campground with his River John crew. Tim was always known for his humour and witty remarks, always breaking the tension with a timely joke or lightening the mood with something clever to say. Tim was known for his good-natured demeanor, and his willingness to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. We will miss his happy go lucky persona, and of course the joy and laughter he brought to us all. In addition to his mother, Tim is survived by his daughter, Katrina Shaw (Jeremy Savage), Aylesford; sons, Colin Shaw (Ashley MacDorman), Wolfville, and Logan Shaw (Amy Debaie), Dartmouth; partner, Kim Connolly and her son Donovan, Central Onslow; sisters, Wanda (Barry) Tupper, Kentville, Paula Daley, New Minas, and Pamela, (Paul) Bennett, North Alton; brother, Vincent (Bonnie) Shaw, New Minas; grandchildren, Peyton, Emma, Mya, Neveah, Jaxon, Stella, Creelyn, Hailey and Brooke; several nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
