Clarence "Clark" "Junior" Pemberton

Clarence Pemberton "Clark" "Junior" – age 75, of New Minas, formerly of Coldbrook, passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, in Valley Hospice, Kentville. Born in Kentville, he was the son of the late Clarence Sr. and Barbara (Christie) Pemberton. Clarence was employed for several years at Stirlings and then went to Scotian Gold where he was recognized for 25 years of service, with a trophy shaped as an apple, as a forklift operator. He was a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Kings Branch No. 6, Kentville. He enjoyed blue grass, dancing, wearing his cowboy hat, shirt, pants and matching cowboy boots. He loved the outdoors and camping brought him a lot of joy, especially sitting around the campfires, telling stories to other campers. He travelled throughout Nova Scotia with his wife and son, and he often walked around the campsite with family talking to all the other campers. He is survived by his wife; a daughter; two granddaughters; a son; a large circle of friends and his beloved cat, Tiger, who went every where in the car. He will be missed by a lot of good friends and family. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, William, in infancy. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions and regulations, there will be no visitation. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
