Anita Elizabeth "Nanny" German

Anita Elizabeth "Nanny" German – age 83, of Kentville, passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Digby, she was a daughter of the late Ronald and Kathleen (Joseph) Bright.

Anita is survived by her siblings, Delores (Murray) Phillips, Sharon (Dempsey) Smith, Leon, Lionel and Randy Bright; her children, David Bright, Clyde German, Paul German, Winston Clements, Roger German, Deborah German, Richard German, Frank German; 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her husband Francis German, her son Terry Bright and brothers, Ronald "Ken" Bright and Malcolm Bright.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations in memory may be made to Diabetes Canada, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Wildlife Fund.
