Lynn Ethel Schofield

1956-2021

Lynn Ethel Schofield

Lynn Ethel Schofield – 64 (29 and holding), of Wolfville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 2, 2021. Born in Wolfville, mom was a daughter of the late Robert and Marie (Pinch) Schofield.

For as long as I can remember, mom has always loved "The King of Rock and Roll", Elvis. She would never miss watching his movies, whenever they came on tv. Mom enjoyed knitting, puzzle books, as well as spending time sitting outside during the evenings, when the weather was nice.

Another thing mom loved doing more than anything was going to bingo on Thursday as well as Saturday night beach bingo. Mom’s Thursday night bingo held a special bond with her, as it is held on West Brooklyn Mountain (those closest to us will understand this). In memory of mom, "B4" is forever yours (love the West Brooklyn Crew).

Mom will be deeply missed by her daughter, Shannon (Cory Johnstone); her grandchildren, Jessica-Jade and Aaren Schofield; as well as her honourary children, Ashley MacDonald and Crystal (Ashley) Weatherbee; sisters, Gloria and Lucy "Jane" Schofield; brothers, David "Jim" Pinch, Robert Jr. (Grace) Schofield, Tony (Kym) Schofield and Sean (Tiffany) Schofield; and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Lynn’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 12, 2021 in West Brooklyn Community Hall, West Brooklyn. A private family interment will take place in West Brooklyn Cemetery, at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to the Ronald McDonald House or any charity that helps children. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
