Kevin Murray Best

Kevin Murray Best

With great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Kevin Murray Best, 61, of Halls Harbour, Nova Scotia, on Sunday, November 21, 2021.

There was a lot to love about Kevin. He had a remarkable way of connecting with people everywhere he went. He was immensely proud of his family, his work and the life that he built. Kevin was a successful plumber for 43 years. He started K.M. Best Plumbing & Heating in 1986 and served farmers and customers across the Annapolis Valley.

Kevin truly got joy in the simple things in life. He loved spending his time outdoors - fishing, hunting, and gardening. He was kind, patient and incredibly hard-working.
Kevin had a big heart and was not afraid to share it. He gave sound advice and always had others best interest in mind. His love for family and close friends was unmatched and he held a special place in his heart for his grandchildren. If you knew Kevin, you were lucky enough to experience his sense of humor and good-natured teasing. We will all miss his gentle and caring way.

Love for Kevin is carried on by his wife, Tracy (Millett) of 39 years; daughters, Lindsay (Ian) Burns, Cristy (Chad) Nippard and Jenna Best; grandchildren, Carly, Cassie, Isla and Jack; sister, Kathie (Clinton) Swindell; brother, Stephen (Gay) Best; mother-in-law, Ruth Corkum; father-in-law, Blake Millett and countless family and friends.

Kevin was predeceased by his parents, Murray Best and Elizabeth (Betty) Best and friend, Warren Millett.
