Brenda Lee Salsman

Brenda Lee Salsman – 73, of Kentville, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Windsor, she was a daughter of the late Merville "Ace" and Margaret (Amirault) Mailman.

Brenda was a most devoted mother and loved her children and grandchildren dearly. She was tremendously funny and loved to laugh and enjoy life as it came. She was called "Mom" by more than just her own children. Her kindness and compassion will be greatly missed. She balanced a successful career as a hairstylist while raising her family. Brenda was a worldly traveller, having spent many years in Germany, she enjoyed seeing most of Europe and made several lifelong friends. From summers in France to Swiss Alp walks, she lived and enjoyed to its fullest.

Brenda is survived by her children, Jodi (Chris) White and Jack (Laura) Salsman; grandchildren, Brett, Jack, Jacqueline and Jordan; brothers, Donnie Mailman, Doug (Donna) Mailman; sister-in-law, Cheryl Burke; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Linda Cleveland; brother, Brian Mailman; sister-in-law, Bonnie Mailman; and brother-in-law, Rick Cleveland.

Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Brenda’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Burial will take place in the Elm Grove Cemetery at a later date.
