David James Stevens

David James Stevens – age 74, of Windsor, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 in the Dykeland Lodge, Windsor. Born in Wolfville, he was a son of the late William and Dorothy Stevens. David spent many years working at the Halliburton Farms in Avonport. He is survived by his spouse, Sheila Jordan, Windsor; step-daughter, Tammy Jordan (Howard Phillips), Lower Wolfville; step-son, Raymond Jordan (Pauline Brown), Labrador; sisters, Helen (Aubrey) Spencer, Berwick; Barbara (David) McDermott, Aylesford; brothers, Keith (Creta), Lower Wolfville; Stanley, New Germany; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by step-son, John Jordan; a sister and three brothers, in infancy; sisters, Jean, Doris, Peggy; brothers, Wade and Harold. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation, by request. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2022 in the Gaspereau Cemetery, Reverend Ellen Hunt officiating. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to all the staff at Dykeland Lodge for their compassionate care of David. Donations in memory may be made to Diabetes Canada.
