Ruth Maie Bentley

Ruth Maie Bentley - 63, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2022 in Evergreen Home for Special Care, Kentville, Nova Scotia.

Predeceased by her parents, Joyce and Keith (Bentley). She is survived by her sisters. Margaret of Northville, NS; Dawn (Jamie), of Kingston, NS; and Laurie (Duane), of Kanata, ON. She will be fondly remembered by her nephews and niece, and by her many friends and extended family.

Ruth taught school on Fogo Island, Newfoundland for many years before retiring back to the farmhouse where she was raised in Nova Scotia.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ruth’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Arthritis Society.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 23, in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. A private family graveside service will be held in Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville, Kings County.
