Amy Stewart
1943-2022
Amy Stewart – 79, passed away on June 22, 2022, at home in Canning, surrounded by loved ones. Born in Pictou County, she was the youngest child of the late Jack and Anna (Ross) MacCulloch.
Amy is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Morten Stewart; son Bryan; daughter Lisa (Len Dziama, Ucluelet, B.C.); and beloved granddaughter, Rachel.
In addition to her parents, six siblings, and other extended family, Amy was predeceased by daughter-in-law, Kathi Graves.
While battling cancer she was asked her wishes for her funeral service and Amy requested her "accomplishments" not be itemized in a eulogy. In respect of this wish, a list of her "accomplishments" also won’t appear here. If you knew Amy and are reading this obituary, she said you’ll know the list!
Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Hillaton Cemetery, Hillaton.
