Evangeline M. "Angie" Clarke

1976-2022

Evangeline M. "Angie" Clarke

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear friend Angie Clarke, age 45, on Sunday, June 19, 2022, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Angie was a very charismatic person.  She loved talking and spending time with her boyfriend Andy Weir-Cotnoir and her housemates John Guy and Kevin Rector. She also enjoyed her time spent with all her amazing support staff at the Community Living Alternatives Society, where she lived for the past 30 years. She is survived by her biological mother and father, Alice Cameron and George Pyne; as well as her siblings, Vance, Sam, Kathleen and Shirley. Angie had many interests and passions, some of which were: listening to music (especially the Back Street Boys), painting, working on (or "cheating" as she would say) her puzzle books and playing on her cell phone and laptop.  Angie loved "sappy" or funny movies, shopping (‘til she dropped or ran out of money) and hanging out at the mall with her friends. These were just a few of the many things that brought her such joy and happiness. She loved celebrating every holiday and birthday to the max, sometimes months ahead of time!  She especially loved Christmas; it would not be unusual to find Angie dressed in her favorite Christmas sweater, watching Christmas movies and singing carols while decorating her tree in July. Angie was with C.L.A.S. for 30 years and worked at the Beehive Adult Service Centre in Aylesford, Nova Scotia for over 18 years. She made many great friends there and loved all of her staff. Her favorite thing to do was to go in the van to get clothing, bottles or wood, especially if she got to stop at Tim’s and get a treat! A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 in Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill. For those unable to attend, a video webcast will be available on Thursday, June 30. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
