With sad hearts and loving memories we share the passing of Jim Brown of Kentville, Nova Scotia on Saturday, June 25, 2022. With immense bravery, strength and grace Jim took on many challenges fighting a debilitating cancer. Jim died at home, as was his wish, surrounded by love and memories under the care of his wife Debbie.

Soulmate and cherished husband of Debbie (Crooke). Proud father of James (Jennifer), Marmora, Ontario and Craig (Lisa)Victoria, British Columbia. Grandpa Jim to Lucas. Dear brother of Anne Brown and Ian Brown, Toronto Ontario. Loved and will be greatly missed by mother-in-law Betty Crooke, sister-in-law Cyndy Crooke, New Minas, Nova Scotia and lifelong friend Kim McKenzie (Sandi)Victoria, British Columbia.

Jim’s warm smile and easy nature forged many lasting friendships in Ontario, Nova Scotia and beyond. He will be missed.

A heartfilled thank you to our family and to the many friends and neighbours who gave us their time to call, write and particularly to visit with Jim in the last several weeks. He cherished and felt blessed to have the support, music laughter and memories...and "the pictures". All this and seeing Craig and James together at home this past week put his mind to rest.

A personal thank you to the many Doctors involved in Jim’s care and especially to Tara and Dr. Burch of the palliative team, the VON nurses and recently Homemakers who made it possible for Jim to remain at home.

Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Jim’s wishes there will be no service or visitation.
