Audrey Lloyd

The family of Audrey Lloyd sadly announces her passing in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, on July 22, 2022. Born at home in Morristown, with her twin brother, Anthony, on March 29, 1928 to Asaph and Viola (Lacey) Silver and her older brother, James. Mom was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Mom married Dad in 1948 and moved to Cambridge where she was blessed to live the remainder of her life, 73 1/2 years.

She is survived by her sons, Keith Lloyd (Mabel Comeau) and Roland (Tammie) Lloyd; daughters, Wanda (Doug) Spencer, Sheila Lewis, Loretta (Kevin) Perkins, Mona (Darrell) Wright and Teresa (Terry) Doyle; 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Murray; son, Garth; grandson, Nathan Perkins; granddaughter, Melanie Wright; daughter-in-law, Connie Lloyd and son-in-law, Cameron Lewis.

Mom's life was centered around working with Dad farming and then in the lumber mill and raising their large family. Her last message to her family was "I love you very, very much. I love you with all my heart, my darlings." And we loved her with all our hearts.

We are grateful for all the assistance of those who gave Mom the best care possible these past five and half years. To the VON, Dr. Crystal Todd and all of the staff at the Valley Regional Hospital, you made a difficult journey bearable. Thank you so much.

A private graveside service will be held in the Berwick Cemetery for immediate family only. Reverend Virginia DeAdder officiating. Donations in memory may be made to the Annapolis Valley VON or Cambridge Baptist Church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
