Lucinda Lynn Herget

It is with great sadness the family of Lucinda Lynn Herget, age 57, of Cambridge, announce her passing at her home on Tuesday, August 9, 2022. Born in Kentville, she was a daughter of Jean (Walker) Herget and the late H. Perry Herget.

Lucinda was a dedicated employee of Michelin for over 20 years. She loved animals and being outdoors while sipping an Iced Capp. She was an avid gardener and was always planting new flowers in her gardens. She enjoyed artwork, and woodworking and her life was full of colour. She made the lives of those she loved brighter and will be dearly missed.

In addition to her mother, Lucinda is survived by her spouse, Brian Hendershot; son, Josh Balsor; stepchildren, Michelle Lockhart and Brandon Hendershot (Nicole Parker); brother, Danny (Janet) Herget; grandchildren, Aliana, Aidan and Nixon; step-grandchildren, Summer, Sophie, Jordan, Macy and Lane; and several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Besides her father, she was predeceased by her son, Jeremy Balsor in infancy; and sister, Peggy LeBlanc.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 14, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the service will also take place at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2022. A private family burial will take place in Elm Grove Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to the SPCA-Kings Branch.
