Cecil Joseph Greencorn

Cecil Joseph Greencorn – 86, of Canning, Kings County, passed away at home on Thursday, November 10, 2022. Born on June 11, 1936, he was a son of the late Chester and Eliza (Carrington) Greencorn. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Kevin; sisters, Isabelle, Cora, Florence, Kathleen and Gertrude; brother, Curtis; and furry companion, Toby.

Cecil is survived by his wife of 68 years, Leona Greencorn; his children, Blain (Pam), Vincent (Michelle), Gloria, Judy (Curtis) and Trevor; eight grandchildren, Tracey (Matt), Lindsay (Jason), Chris (Jeanna), Kim (Jamie), Jayme, Josh, Matt and Mark; 10 great-grandchildren, Jaelynn, Brooklynn, Chloe, Sierra, Cohen, Ava, Lowla, Laya, Macy and Cooper; and his brother, Alton (Marion); as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2022 in Habitant Cemetery, Habitant. Please bring a folding chair if you wish to be seated for the service. For those unable to attend, a video webcast will be available on-line on Sunday, November 20 at 2:00 p.m. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of choice.
