Raymond Sherman Brothers

Raymond Sherman Brothers, age 78, of Woodville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, surrounded by his close family. Born in Cambridge, he was one of 11 children to the late Baden Powell and Viola (Bezanson) Brothers.

Raymond was an accomplished businessman, partnering with his brother, Stewart, in S&R Brothers Construction. He loved going fishing with his brother, sister and friends, Phillip and Shirley, and collecting antique automobiles. He also had a passion for clock making. He was a very kind man and loved by those who knew him.

He is survived by his sister, Marilyn Brothers; nephew, Phillip Brothers Jr.; and "the crew" (his fur babies).

Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Raymond’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations in his memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Nova Scotia.
