Michael "Andrew" Hatt

It is with heavy hearts, the family of Michael "Andrew" Hatt, age 29, announce his passing in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, after a period of failing health. Andrew was born on March 10, 1994 in Liverpool, to Leigh (Fralic) Hatt and the late Tony Hatt.

In addition to his mother, Andrew will be deeply missed by his dad, John Hynick; sisters, Julie-Ann (John), Morgan (Stephen); maternal grandmother, Linda Fralic; paternal grandparents, Nancy and Jack Hatt; and Donna Hynick; and many aunts, uncles, cousins. As well, extended family at Evergreen Home for Special Care, Children’s Unit.

He was predeceased by his father, Tony; and maternal grandfather, Lorne Fralic and paternal grandfather, Glenwood Hynick.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff of Evergreen Home for the exceptional care that Andrew received. As well, a thank you to Valley Regional Hospital for the exceptional care and compassion he was given in his final days. A special thank you to Leigh’s sister Dawn who offered support and love and was present to celebrate Andrew’s passing.

In this life Andrew was born to teach all of us many things, most of which is unconditional love. In spite of Andrew’s challenges in life, he has brought joy and awareness to everyone who has had the privilege to be part to his journey. As we celebrate Andrew’s passing, it’s to be said with joy; he is free to do all things in which he was limited to in this life.
