Gregory Wayne Salsman

1961-2023

Gregory Wayne Salsman

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce that Gregory Wayne Salsman, of Cambridge, passed away peacefully with loved ones by his side on Wednesday, April 19, 2023. Greg was born to Miriam (McKay) and Rupert Salsman of Waterville on March 14, 1961.

Greg enjoyed playing baseball, fishing, and golf. Greg could always be found watching his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays along with many other sports.  Above all Greg loved spending quality time with his family and friends.

Greg will be deeply missed by his sons, Scott (Mindy) and Ian Swinamer; brother, Darrin (Peteena) Salsman; grandson, Jayce; many friends and extended family.

Greg has been re-united with his parents; grandparents Pauline and Arnold McKay; son, Bradley Swinamer; and brother, Tony Salsman. We can rest assured there is one big game of Cards being held up above.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation by request. Friends and family are invited to attend a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 in the Berwick Cemetery, Berwick. Greg had expressed that he would like family and friends to gather at a later date to share some memories and raise a glass to the good times had that will live on in our hearts forever. Donations in memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of NS. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
