Craig James Woodworth

1973-2023

Craig James Woodworth

Craig James Woodworth of Windsor, formerly of Mt. Uniacke, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2023, at the age of 50 in the Halifax Infirmary from a sudden illness.

Craig worked as a labourer for many years and most recently moved home to assist with the care of his father until his passing last year. Craig loved the outdoors, whether he was fishing, hunting, golfing or four wheeling. He loved to play the guitar and sing, enjoying jam sessions with his many friends. Craig’s pride and joy was his Victory motorcycle which he would ride at every opportunity.

Craig is survived by his mother, Margaret "Marg" (Kinsman) Woodworth; brother, Geoffrey (Patricia) Woodworth, Falmouth; niece, Alicia Woodworth and nephew, Kyle Woodworth, both of Falmouth. He will be missed dearly by his constant companion, his cat "Rex".

Craig was predeceased by his father, R. Bradford Woodworth; maternal grandparents, Lena (Kinsman) McLean and Fred McLean; paternal grandparents, Altina (Jones) Woodworth and Robert Woodworth.

Special thanks to Dr. Sarah Bezanson, Hants Community Hospital Emergency Department, Dr. Adrienne Weeks, Neurosurgery Department at the Halifax Infirmary as well as the many nurses and staff that took excellent care of Craig.

A celebration of Craig’s life will take place on Friday, May 12th at 3:00 p.m. in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. Donations can be made to your charity of choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
