Justin Avery Spencer

It is with heavy hearts the family of Justin Avery Spencer, 67, of New Minas, announces his sudden passing on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at home. Born in Wolfville, he was a son of Marjorie "Joyce" (Bishop) Davidson and the late Avery Albert Spencer.

Justin is survived by his loving wife, Cathy (Butler); sons, Doug Spencer, Rocky Butler and Justin Albert Spencer; daughter, Angela "Joy" Spencer; siblings, John Spencer (Beverly), Dean Spencer (Dallas), Penny Spencer (Colin), Robert Spencer (Leanne), Glenn Spencer (Judy), Matthew Spencer (Anna), Tony Davidson, Lawrence Davidson (Anna); grandchildren, Tyhesha Spencer, Alex Henshaw, Shane Spencer, Madison Spencer, Holden Butler; great-grandchildren, Lyrik Smith, Kian Power as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by siblings, Christopher Davidson and Angela Davidson.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2023 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. Interment will be held in Gaspereau Cemetery at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of choice.
