Chris Gerald Larkin
1956-2023
The family of Chris Gerald Larkin, 67, of New Minas, announce his sudden passing on Thursday, November 23, 2023 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Shelburne, he was the son of Hugh Larkin, Kentville and the late Carolyn "Kaye" (Nickerson) Larkin.
Chris will be remembered by his common-law wife, Teresa Rafuse; father, Hugh Larkin; eldest child, son, Shannon Andrew Larkin, his partner Chantel Kelley and children Ethan and Jaxon Larkin; eldest daughter, Nicole Larkin and her partner, Stephen Davison, children Brendan Larkin and Blake Davison; youngest daughter, Emily Larkin and her partner, Dylan Poole; great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Larkin; sisters, Lynn (Bill) Young, Tanya Sullivan (Daniel Gordon); several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by daughter, Elizabeth Larkin.
In keeping with Chris’ wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
