Edward "Perry" Fizzard

Edward "Perry" Fizzard, 60, of Kentville, passed away suddenly on March 20, 2024 at home. Born in Dover, Newfoundland, he was a son of the late Joseph and Alfreda (Keats) Fizzard.

Perry was a loving father, brother, uncle and grandfather. His love for the Montreal Canadians was unbelievable. He really enjoyed his McDonalds coffee and smoke and going for walks with his dog. He was a kind, quiet man who didn’t have a lot to say, but his laugh and smile were contagious. He was always up to no good and loved to joke and carry on.

Left to mourn are his sons, Fraser (Ashley King), Fort MacMurray, AB, Brandon, Brooks, AB, Carter, Goose Bay, NL; daughters, Samantha (Matthew) Lenihan, Kentville, NS, Brittany (Zack) Neal, Brooks, AB; grandchildren, Bryce, Mia, Callum, Malaya, Linkyn, Zayden and Ivy; brothers, Albert (Madonna) and Merrick, all of Brooks, AB, Derrick, Calgary, AB, Kevin (Doreen), Grand Le Pierre, NL, Fred (Donna), Winterland, NL; sisters, Sarah Soper and Bernice Collins, both of St. John’s, NL, Georgina (Tom) Noseworthy, Burin, NL, and Sabrina, Marystown, NL; special aunt, Daise of Dover, NL, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Adam Fizzard; sister, Myrtle Sheppard and niece, Shibbon Sheppard.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service. A celebration of his life will take place at a later date in Marystown, Newfoundland. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
